Dr. Fichera is a fellowship-trained colon and rectal surgeon with interests in minimally invasive management of inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer.
Dr. Fichera has received numerous honors and rewards, been involved in multiple research efforts both in inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer, sat on national committees and boards, and has published extensively. He has authored a textbook on Crohn’s disease.
In his spare time, he enjoys listening to blues music, cooking, traveling internationally, gardening and riding his Peloton bike.
